CHARLESTON -- Republican state Supreme Court candidate Beth Walker recently was awarded the 2008 Healthcare Leadership Award by the West Virginia State Medical Association.

The award was presented Sept. 19 in the office of Dr. Austin Wallace at the Charleston Surgical Hospital in Charleston.
